EVENT: POPULAR DENTON PUNK AFTER-PARTY SPOT CROSSROADS OPENS BRAND NEW LOCATION TONIGHT 11/18

Owner Richard Underwood, center

Today marks the Grand Re-Opening of the *very* popular Denton punk after-party bar, Crossroads. The 21+ only bar started to gain huge popularity over the past couple of years for two main reasons: the all inclusive come as you are attitude towards the LGBTQ community and the daily karaoke. The spot had become so popular that it recently had to close it's old location to make way for a larger capacity building. The move came quick, as the closing of the old location was just 4 days ago.

With legendary Denton bar, Mable Peabody's, who's facebook page hailed itself as "Denton's only LGBT friendly dive bar," closing down recently, Crossroads now seems to fill to a void. The new location was rumored to actually be at the old Mable Peabody's location, but if commenters in the Facebook event page are right, the exact location would be just in the same shopping mall as Mable's, in the spot where Bagheri's used to be.

Tonight is expected to be a massive turnout for the new location.
